SAFTA 1964 by Chef Alon Shaya, from Pomegranate Hospitality was an exciting, limited-run celebrity-chef residency at Wynn Las Vegas during the 2024 year. This playful iteration of Safta, which translates to “grandmother” in Hebrew, celebrates Grandma’s fictional heyday, before she became a “safta.” Picture her dressed to the nines, complete with her signature red lipstick, driving her white 1964 Thunderbird convertible west, and toasting the town. She’s the magnetic life of the party, sipping martinis, and running the blackjack table.

SAFTA, meaning Grandmother in Hebrew, is located in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver.

Safta is an ode to all of the grandmothers who have worked to create a path for their families and the vibrant experiences they have encountered along the way.

SAFTA’S TABLE is the latest addition to the Pomegranate Hospitality family of restaurants. Eating at Safta's Table feels like dining at your Grandmother's house - comforting and healthy food that brings you back for more. You and your family can order at the counter or online for dine in or takeout and enjoy the delicious Mediterranean foods, cocktails and wine you crave.
